Quick & Easy Halloween Decor

If you were able to catch our our last Halloween Post then you know how excited we are about Halloween and by now you should of been able to pick up a few things at the Dollar Tree or at Target Dollar Spot to get your Last Minute Decor ready for Halloween Night or any parties this weekend.
Blow ups and lights are great but sometimes that's not in the budget so Here's what we were able to create in just an hours worth of time with just a few things that only cost $1 each!. Scroll below for the full details!

Let me walk you through what we did...
.

Creepy Cloth- (from original blog) - drape across any cabinet, bookcase, shelf, or stairs.

.

Ceramic Tombstones & Characters-  we have collected 1 or 2 new ones each year. Put across a mantle, fireplace, tv stand, banister, etc.

.

Door & Window Hangers- (from original blog) hang these up where you see fit. The bubbling culdren went well above the kitchen table or fireplace, and the Ghostly couple went on a window behind a couch or family room area to make it seem like they were sitting with the family.

.

Tombstones/ Bones, Skulls & Signs- (from original blog)  create a graveyard in the yard and add a few bones or signs.

.

Foam Spiders- This is my new favorite addition this year. Tape the spiders up along the garage door, mirrors, doors, walls, or kitchen cabinets. You can do the same thing with ghosts or pumpkins, or Bats too. It depends on what you find. The only thing is that they aren't sticky so i suggest using painters tape or masking tape outside and scotch tape or putty inside depending where you want them.

.

Pumpkins, Jars, Bottles- Pick up a few random items to place together in a bar area, corner of the kitchen, end table, or even by the bathroom sink to keep the Halloween feel up around the whole house.

Wall Decor- (from original blog) we picked up a few different items to hang on the wall but these two were my new favorites to hang up  See our original post for other options.

.

Bulbs & Lanterns- (see original blog) Typically we hang these outside in the trees but we had a few extra so i hung them from the fans and kitchen lights. Just add extra string and you can pretty much hang them anywhere.

.

Small Skeletons/ Creepy Cloth- these caped skeletons can be hung anywhere you like or you can do like we did here by draping the cloth along the banister and then laying the skeletons on top. Find a place and put them up where you want.

.

Skeleton Borders- There are a few different options of these that you can line up along the grass like we did, or line them up a walkway, garage, or even in window sills if you cut the posts off.

.

Spider Web & Critters (see original blog for more options) finish off the decor with some spider webbing. Feel free to add spiders, rats, bats and whatever else you have laying around to the mix for extra Halloween fun.

Fall Pumpkin Decor- if there are any spaces you need filled you grab some pumpkins, pine cones, leaves, etc and create your own table runner or spread where you need to decorate. We laid them on the Creep Cloth from above for Halloween but will remove it and let it sit alone when we transition to Thanksgiving.

.

Well there you have it. I mean How easy was that! I know sometimes it seems like a ton of extra work but it really is so easy to create a spooktacular house for Halloween both inside and out. If you have kids this is a great way to not only do something together as a family but gets them even more excited about the holidays and also allows them to be creative all at the same time.
